Iftar Kit Project:
The Jan Samaj Kalyan Samiti provides Iftar Kit to poor and needy families. It generally comprises grains, cereals and other food ingredients required to prepare food. The quantity of the ingredients and content of the Iftar Kit varies as per the need of an individual. However, one Iftar Kit is generally enough to feed a family for a month.
The project aims to provide necessary food to the needy families in the Holy Month of Ramadan; it starts from the last two weeks of (Sha’ban) until 15th of Ramadan.
The beneficiaries of such project are the registered families at the Organization including widows, divorcees, abandoned, wives, low-income and people in need.
The implementation of the project on the last week of the Holy month of Ramadan, Zakat (Giving charity) is given to the needy according to the Shari'a rules
The beneficiaries from the distribution of Zakat al-Fitr are widows, divorcees, abandoned, wives, low-income and people in need. It aims to bring joy to the hearts of poor and to draw a smile on their faces.
Feeding a Fasting Person
The Prophet , may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "He who provides a fasting person something with which to break his fast, will earn the same reward as the one who was observing the fast, without diminishing in any way the reward of the latter." (Narrated by Tirmizi)
Organization implements the “Feeding a Fasting Person” project which has considered one of the most important projects during the holy month of Ramadan. The project aims to draw a beautiful image in how the philanthropists compete in the contribution to charity during Ramadan.
The project starts from the first day of Ramadan by firming the tents for Iftar (break-fasting) The Association provides Iftar meals. All segments of society are benefited from such project, by distributing meals during the holy month of Ramadan.
Clothing for Poor & Needy
Clothes were distributed on many occasion and festivals to the poor needy like Eid, Christmas etc. During winter season blankets and other warm clothes are also distributed as shown Orphan Children- 2500, Poor Children – 5000, Poor men –500, Poor women –500
Activities of the Organization
In fulfillment of educational obligations the Organization has already established schools many students have passed secondary level examinations with flying colors and pursued higher study. Applications are being applied for granting minority states certificate to the competent authorities. Beside Board curriculum some of the extra-curricular activities of the schools are highlighted below:
